I spent the last few days experience Open Space Technology (OST) with Lisa Heft. Lisa herself is a brilliant woman with a subtle and profound presence. Her website does not do her justice.
Open Space itself turned into an opportunity to discover and work with possibilities and issues I had not quite recognized before. In my own work teaching, training, moving and shaking, Open Space will be a fantastic model with which to have and facilitate conversations about questions that matter.
I have been exploring the phenomenon of getting issues out to see (mindsweep, mindmapping, visual thinking) with body-mind centered practices (meditation, yoga, movement) for a practical methods of naming and acting on our hopes and dreams. OST represents that process for me, albeit without the body-centered part, and I look forward to connecting with others in the OS space.
